Carter has left the building.

And I'm very sad about it too. :( He's been here for just over 2 weeks and it's been a blast. He helped entertain the kids and keep them out of trouble. Still have to laugh at that last part. Let's just say....Carter was always a 'spirited' child. Today he is a very sweet, responsible, loving, caring, godly young man. I sure hope he comes to visit his Aunt again soon. :)

The first weekend he was here we went to the lake to fish and hang out. When we first got there we weren't too hopeful because there were a lot of people who had the same idea. Fortunately, we waited till later in the day before we decided to go, so most of the people were starting to pack up to leave as we were getting there. We lucked out and got a picnic table close to the water and a good spot for the kids to play in the water. Earlier in the fishing season it would have been a good spot to catch a few fish too. We didn't do so hot in that dept. It's a stocked pond so it's pretty much been fished out. Nonetheless, it was a very fun and memorable day.

Here is my 'Sweet Shot' for the week. It's one of my favorite pics that I took while Carter was here.

So serene and so peaceful.... not to mention, so beautiful!

Oh wow, now THAT is a picture perfect fishing hole! Too bad it didn't have fish though.

Spirited, huh? So there's hope for certain attributes that my boys have?

One of my favorite places:) Love the rocks in the corner. One can never have too many Mt. Hood photos!

My son spent 6 1/2 hours a few weekends ago at Trillium and didn't catch a thing... a lesson in patience. We were there the other weekend with 4 poles in the water for at least 3 hours and only one nibble. Oh well... as they say, " A bad day fishing..."
